The Piano Shop Bath has been creating one off painted pianos since 2015 and we have seen this initiative go from strength to strength. We have recently refashioned several pianos to our customers exact specification and have enjoyed being involved in the design process to create some uniquely beautiful instruments. One piano we recently finished was a 1970s Kemble piano, still a very good instrument (Kemble pianos were built to last) but looking a bit tired on the cabinet front. Rather than dispose of this piano our client decided to give it a new lease of life by having it painted in Pigeon (colour matched to farrow and ball). The finished result is a wonderful updated upright piano that will compliment any interior with its modern neutral aesthetic. The continental style piano cabinet looks very neat in grey and the brass accents on the piano cabinet work in perfect harmony for an overall look that is contemporary and stylish.
