We are very excited to have received the first batch of painted Haessler pianos here at our showroom. These pianos represent a great collaboration between the Piano Shop Bath, Haessler pianos and Farrow & Ball paint, providing high quality all-German manufactured pianos in modern, unique finishes.
Haessler pianos are designed and manufactured by Blüthner pianos, the world renowned giant of piano manufacturers that has many great pianists associated with their pianos. Haessler pianos are entirely manufactured in Leipzig, Germany, using all German materials and parts.
Here we have used the Hassler models K-124 and the H-118 upright pianos. The K-124 upright piano is a slightly larger cabinet model, giving slightly more output in sound. However they both provide extremely responsive touch and a wonderfully warm, resonant tone that is perfectly balanced across the whole register.
The number one priority when buying a piano should always be its performance. But it doesn’t hurt to have an instrument that is also beautiful to look at. Here at The Piano Shop Bath we understand that a piano still represents a large footprint for any living space, and there should not really be any need for compromise on looks either. We have used paint selections from Farrow & Ball’s highly contemporary range of colours, immediately giving these pianos a unique look. Here the Haessler K-124 is finished in ‘Hague’, an almost black, deep blue, and the H-118 is finished in ‘Pigeon’, a subtle tone that looks contemporary in any setting.
These two models are one off finishes, but you can request to have any model from Haessler or Blüthner pianos finished in any colour from the Farrow & Ball range. We use the best professionals to carry out the paint work, resulting in a sleek, satin finish that wonderful to behold and touch.
