Teaching Details

I am a piano teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching all ages and abilities, in many different styles of piano playing recorder and theory. I graduated from the RWCMD in Piano performance and have remained active as an accompanist. I have coordinated EPTA (European Piano Teachers Association) in Cardiff for many years and have mounted numerous successful piano competitions, masterclasses and training events for young musicians. I am also presently a committee member of the South Glamorgan Festival for Young Musicians. I tailor lessons to every individual with bespoke lesson planning. I help students achieve their music related goals, be they exams, acquiring a new skill, competitions and eisteddfodau, composition, theory, assisting school music lessons, coaching ensemble work, training piano duos. Support in music history papers etc. I am always happy to discuss individual requirements.
