Teaching Details

I am a well-qualified, experienced teacher who enjoys teaching all ages and abilities from beginners to Grade 8. I tailor lessons to individuals’ needs and aim to increase confidence and make learning an enjoyable and stimulating experience for children and adults.

Many of my pupils take ABRSM and Trinity exams and I have a 100% success rate. I also prepare students for Grade 5 theory.

Alternatively, pupils can develop their skills while learning appropriate pieces in a variety of styles and incorporating their own suggestions. This can include explaining how to play from chord symbols, Youtube videos and so on.

I generally teach from my home in Oldfield Park. I have been doing a good deal of online teaching and will continue to offer this for the foreseeable future. I work in schools and have a full DBS (CRB) certificate.

Qualifications: BA Hons Music, Grade 8, PGCE.
