On March 23rd, the Wiltshire Music Centre plays host to pianist and BBC Young Musician of the Year winner Cordelia Williams alongside enterprising local orchestra the Trowbridge Symphony in a varied programme to include Mendelssohn’s Hebrides overture, Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini (with Cordelia Williams at the piano) and Elgar’s Enigma Variations. This promises to be an entertaining evening featuring some of classical music’s ‘greatest hits’ and a performance from one of Britain’s up-and-coming stars of piano performance.
