Nurry is an exceptional local concert pianist who studied music at Wells Cathedral School before attending the Royal College of Music in London where she recently achieved Master of Music in Performance.
Nurry has also studied at the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, South Korea and has given concerts throughout the UK, Europe and other parts of the globe.
Before the 2020 lockdown her career was blossoming in London, in terms of teaching, performing and collaborating with other musicians.
Lockdown as we all understand has affected just about everyone in the performing arts. However, Nurry has still been able to coach other musicians by video, and has also recorded for film work whilst focusing on expanding her repertoire.
Towards the end of 2020, Nurry moved back to Bath to join her family. In Bath we met her at the Piano Shop while she was choosing a suitable instrument for one of her students; understandably we immediately recognised her immense talent.
As a result of this meeting and the restrictions due to the pandemic, we were able to find a way from which we could all benefit.
Currently (early 2021) Nurry is working with us by videoing and recording some of our finest instruments in the store. The added benefit for Nurry is the opportunity to play many of the 70 beautiful Steinway, Bosendorfer, Blüthner, Bechstein, Kawai, Yamaha, Petrof and other instruments always available.

We feel that we have found a real friend in having Nurry on our doorstep; however we do know that once she can spread her wings we’ll be learning more about her exploits in the world at large.
