Robb Lawton joins The Piano Shop Bath

We are really pleased to announce that Robb Lawton has now also joined our small and dedicated team at the Piano Shop Bath. Robb is an extremely talented pianist who is particularly at home playing jazz and popular songs. Robb is helping at our showroom and will be providing video reviews of our digital pianos – watch this space! Robb recently took part in a concert for Bridgemead residential home, going through a great set of music from the 1930s and 1940s. The residents and staff were thrilled with Robb’s playing and soon started singing along! You can read more by clicking here.Robb recently took part in the ‘Dig For Victory Weekend in nearby Lacock, a celebration of the war years with fashion and music from the 1940′s. It culminated in an ITMA entertainment hour, a ‘tea dance’ and sing-along around the piano. Robb was their pianist, playing along to some wartime favourites and ending, as always, with ‘White Cliffs of Dover’ and ‘We’ll Meet Again’. A very positive experience visiting the shop in Bath with my son. We arrived around 10 on Saturday and were left to explore, and for him to play a number of pianos. Staff were attentive when asked, but left us to it otherwise. We chose a piano after after a relaxed and enjoyable hour in the multiple, well laid out rooms and it has now been delivered on time the following week. Highly recommended.

Wide range of pianos, including electric, which is what we were looking for. Helpful staff, although not terribly knowledgeable. She was willing and able to go and find the extra information, but you may have to ask for the owner to get a real expert view. Great to browse.

The piano shop, moved a baby grand for me, price was very competitive. They turned up on time after phoning me 30 minutes before as arranged. Took great care in dismantling and packing the piano , moving it to its new home and re assembling it. A brilliant service. Thank you

A very difficult job executed with sheer determination. "The boys" did an amazing job moving my baby grand from the first floor to the second floor. Due to the complexity of my old house it took 4 attempts to achieve the result, including cutting a hole in the ceiling, but they didn't give up. Thank you so much.

The Piano Removal Company delivered the piano that I bought from the Piano Shop Bath. I was very pleased with the professional service and the movers were very efficient and polite, but most importantly they handled my new piano with a lot of care. I would recommend them to anyone.
