Teaching Details

Ben is a 17-year old pianist and composer living in Yatton Keynell, Wiltshire.

He is currently studying A-level music with plans for further study and a career in composing for TV and Film.

His piano playing and teaching style is based around chord progressions rather than the more traditional approach which allows him to improvise rather than rely on rigid notation. This approach is often favoured by many students who may have consequently given up.

During his study years, he plans to continue teaching the basics of piano for beginners and performing both live as a solo pianist and an accompanist as a part of a duo.

Ben will happily engage with the younger student in order to explore the best approach to develop their musical skills.
Furthermore, Ben can help them learn how to come to grips with Apple’s ‘Garageband’ or ‘LogicPro’, which is something not usually addressed in traditional piano lessons.
