Teaching Details

Ability Levels: Beginners to Intermediate
I teach all ages and have 19 years worth of teaching experience on a one to one or small group basis. I tailor lessons to the students pace and work out the best way to communicate my musical knowledge to them. I have a cheerful approach , able to teach sound theoretical knowledge as well as very practical techniques. Will teach both classical and mainstream music on all Instruments I offer. Will teach at my home or yours. I use John Thompson and Pauline Clark learner books for children. I believe I make lessons fun and very engaging. I use ABRSM for piano grade students and all kinds of other music for students learning mainstream music, for example, Coldplay, Beatles etc . I use child friendly songs, Lion King, Star Wars, The Sound of Music , Frozen to name a few. I teach privately and in both primary and secondary schools. Also, I have experience teaching children with learning difficulties, ADHD and autism especially.
