Teaching Details

Tim has been working as a composer, musical director and music teacher in South Wales for the past twenty years. He has composed music for The Sherman Theatre, Gwent Theatre, Spectacle Theatre, Theatre Iolo, BBC Radio Four and spent a time as Composer in Residence with the education department at Welsh National Opera. He also has many years of experience of training young performers to sing including Muscial Director for the National Youth Theatre of Wales and training children’s choirs to sing in the professional touring productions of ‘Joseph’ and ‘Whistle Down the Wind’ at The New Theatre.
In 2011 he started Primo Piano (www.primopiano.org.uk) offering group piano tuition for beginners.
Tim is also Senior Musical Theatre Examiner for Performance Arts Awards(part of Rockshool).
