About the artist
Lucie is a Somerset based artist, primarily producing paintings and developing mix-media pieces, models and weaves. She has exhibited in solo and group shows, corporate settings, UK galleries and the RWA Bristol and has sold privately in Europe, Middle East, Australia and USA. She developed themes that explore the idea of the seen and unseen through sequences including ‘The Wood From The Trees’ and ‘Threads’, using abstract symbolism, colour and form to create narratives. Lucie studied Furniture Design at University, before working in the film and television industries. She was awarded the accolade of Artist and Illustrators Magazine Abstract Artist of the Year. She enjoys mentoring artists and teaching in private and educational settings, from GCSE to postgraduate settings.
